Brad Thompson- Officer Down Debrief. On October 2, 1998, Officer Brad Thompson and his K9, Argo, began searching for Charles Cook. Cook, a wanted Felon, shot a trooper 7 times the day before. Withing 10 minutes of setting out, Thompson was shot, Argo was dying and Cook was dead. Since we had so many requests and positive feedback, we've invited Thompson back. Thompson is the unit trainer for a large agency in the Fort Worth area.
